Vodka Bottles in the Snow
Alexander took those pictures of Vodka bottles in the snow along the Volga river in Samara - in 10 minutes. Russians REALLY drink a lot of Vodka.

Surviving in Russia
Basic Russian - you don’t need one phrase more to survive in Russia. Bold: stress of the word.
privjet - hello. Alternatively zdrastvuite which is a bit more formal.
paka - bye. Alternatively da svidanja.
ja ne panimaju - I don’t understand. Helpful in many situations, e.g. when you want peace and quiet for a moment.
