Folgender Eintrag zeigt mein Laborbuch heute:

Heizpilz repariert: ein Bein hat sich befreit.
Ionen-Kanone hat ein neues Schutzblech bekommen.
Fluoreszenz-Schirm befestigt. Eine Lasche war nicht mehr vorhanden.
Si(100) entfernt dafür GdO3 auf GaAs montiert.
Ausheizen ab 13 uhr.

Inspired by yesterday's food-bribery suggestions, a list of what I ate (and drank) today until now, early afternoon, in no particular order:

Organic raspberry yoghurt, "Brunnenbrot" (white bread), butter, vegetable-based margarine, white toast bread, raisin yoghurt, full fat cream cheese from the canton of Ticino, cottage cheese, margarine and yoghurt based spread, Gruyere cheese, black olives, cucumber, olive oil, aceto balsamico, pepper, salt, mayonnaise, crispy chocolate spread, elder marmalade, orange juice, coffee, water, fizzy vitamin drink, and spearmint chewing gums.

Number 16 of my lists for this November's festival of ego-expressionism. Express yourself!

talking bout roomates.
mine left yesterday.
went away.
not that i didn’t like him, no he’s probably the greatest guy you’ll ever meet, but he had some different points of view in living and behaving that were kinda hard to deal with.
i mean things like farting out loud 20 times in only 1 hour. not regular nice ones, not well grown farts. these were farts that actually made everyone shiver within 10 meters.
but not only the sounds from his backside were terrifying. the front was even worse. imagine a beautiful sunny summer morning, cup of coffee, milk, toast and honey (vgl. roxette), newspaper – yeah, the kind of morning we all love. well, you’re never save, if you live with someone who has some really bad stomach gas coming out of his mouth in a very loud – and by very loud i mean veeerryy loud – manner. and believe me – just like i already told about the farts – these sounds were not well grown or normal at all.
if you really wanted to, you could slightly define them as burps, BUT -

oh my god! – where the hell do they come from?! from your stomach!? nooooo way!!!
are you satan? do you feel sick? are you dying?

they used to call him the HELLRAISER

god, those were hard times.

but now he’s gone.

and i already miss him.

1. Industrial Area – Lake Zurich (bike)
Essence: Pump up your adrenaline level by dashing through heaviest traffic, overtaking car after car to finally cool down again with a nice swin in lake Zurich.
Route: Hardbr�cke – Albisriederplatz – Schmiede Wiedikon – Manesseplatz – Utobr�cke – Bahnhof Enge – Rentenanstalt – GC Rowing Club

2. From Park to Park (bike)
Essence: This speedy but quiet downhill biketour takes you through quite a bit of the city from Irchelpark to a large park with beautiful old trees directly at lake Zurich. On the way you will be passing several upmarket residential areas, old churches, small parks and the university district.
Route: Milchbuck – Scheuchzerstrasse – University – Kunsthaus – Kreuzplatz – Feldeggstrasse – Dufourstrasse – Z�richhorn

Traffic: Very little traffic on this route.

3. Bullingerplatz – Z�rich Mainstation (walking)
Essence: A soothing nighttime walk to the heart of the city tangenting the red-light district and passing by lots of old buildings and points of architectural, cultural or political interests.
Route: Bullingerplatz – Stauffacherstrasse – B�ckeranlage – Hohlstrasse – Brauerstrasse – Kaserne – Gessnerallee – L�wenplatz – Mainstation

Essence: this pleasant stroll along the river limmat takes you to several hip swimming spots, the locations of two internationally reknown former open drug scenes, a nice family park with a small zoo and finally a former industrial area which now is a meetingplace for hedonists of all kinds.
